About Us

Welcome to our site!

The Los Angeles Trustees Network is a group of pension fund trustees from the greater Los Angeles area who meet on a regular basis to network and share our pension experiences. Most of our participating trustees are elected by fund beneficiaries and all work diligently to effectively represent fund members.

The LA Trustees Network believes that all workers deserve to retire with dignity. We also believe that as long term investors with investments in all sectors of the global economy, we need to continue to explore how our investments can contribute to ongoing, widespread economic prosperity that will ensure the health of our funds for decades to come.

Our monthly meetings provide us an opportunity to strengthen our capacity as fiduciaries by exchanging ideas and discussing key issues facing trustees and workers.

We proudly host the La Trustees Round up each year as a way for all stakeholders interested in retirement security to come together and explore opportunities and challenges faced by fund staff, policymakers, workers, trustees, managers and the public. Some of the funds with trustees participating in our network include:

Los Angeles County Employees’ Retirement Association (LACERA)
California Public Employees’ Retirement Association (CalPERS)
California State Teachers Retirement Association (CalSTRS)
Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System (LACERS)
Santa Barbara County Employees’ Retirement System (SBCERS)
Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension System

We also network with fund trustees from across California, the United States and around the world to learn more about the best way to tackle key challenges facing trustees in the global economy. Representatives from across the US and from Australia, Asia and Europe are among those who have shared experiences with the LA Trustees during our years of work.
